Since then I have added more variety to my diet i.e. pulses, rice, and nuts while reducing wheat and dairy which has helped me manage my weight. 2003 Supported World Vision in their 24hr fast for teenagers to raise awareness of malnutrition in parts of Africa. 2006 Was the Health Columnist for "Real People" Magazine 2007 Supported a British cyclist in the Race Across America (RAAM) 2014- I was a regular contributory author for the online health website watchfit.com, for 2 years . I have had 2 articles published in "The Optimum Nutrition Magazine" on Diet and Memory and Staying healthy in your Golden Years. I regularly work with Health Journalist Karen Evennett to support articles published regularly in Woman's Weekly magazine. Recent articles on lockdown diets and foods to boost energy.
I was awarded a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and Food Science in 1996.
Then in 2000, I was awarded DipION from the Institute of Optimum Nutrition. Now celebrating 25 years.
I am a member of the British Association for Nutrition & Lifestyle Medicine (BANT).
Registered with the Complementary & Natural Health Council (CNHC).
I have helped over 8000 people face to face with 1-1 consultations including food intolerance testing and vitamin and mineral checks.
